The collection of ca.4200 librettos assembled by the Italian musicologist Fausto Torrefranca in the course of half a century is now in the Conservatory Benedetto Marcello in Venice. It ranges from the 17th to the 20th century. This first volume of the catalogue comprises 861 items (titles A-C).
