Glaser spent most of his time in Wertheim, the capital of a small & poor Franconian dukedom, as cantor in the service of the administration. He wrote 300 Cantatas, all unpublished, and hid the manuscript scores before his death in the organ of his church. They were discovered only in 1910.…
