Calefax Reed Quintet.
Shostakovich composed his 10th quartet, op. 118, in 1964, the same year of his quartet no. 9. The work is in four movements and is dedicated to Moisei Samuilovich Vainberg. This is a reprint of an earlier edition.
The Manderling Quartet performs Shostakovich's String Quartet No. 10 in A flat major, Op. 118; String Quartet No. 12 in D flat major, Op. 133; and String Quartet No. 14 in F sharp major, Op. 142. SACD.
