Edited by Knut Holtsträter. Weber composed this work in close collaboration with his friend, the clarinetist Heinrich Joseph Baermann. This edition is the Urtext of the Weber Complete Works Edition. With a preface in German and English.
Based on the original 19th-century Schott edition. The theme of the Rondo is reminiscent of that of the Rondo of the Grand Duo Concertant, op. 48 which Weber wrote for Baermann's father in 1815.
