In three movements. With a preface in English and German. Mozart composed this symphony in 1786, and it was premiered in January of the following year. The CD includes a full performance by the Cologne Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Helmut Müller-Brühl.

Dussek was the most prominent composer of instrumental music in 18th century Prague. His house was an important centre of musical activity and through his wife, Josepha, a celebrated soprano, he established a relationship with Mozart and his family.
